A Journey of Achievement and Player Development
The South Western York Baseball Program emerged in 2000, evolving from the esteemed Hanover Post 14 and Glen Rock Post 403 American Legion baseball programs. For 15 years, from 2000 to 2015, the SW York Senior Legion team dominated the York County American Legion League, earning a reputation as the winningest program during that period.
In 2013, the SW York Baseball Association took a monumental leap, expanding its horizons by venturing into the realm of youth travel baseball. This marked the birth of the Outlaws, a program designed to offer competitive youth travel baseball opportunities to players aged 8 through 14. Primarily catering to those residing in the South Western School District, the Outlaws aimed to provide a platform for young talents to test their skills against the best in the area at their respective age levels.
The Outlaws program is synonymous with a higher brand of baseball, showcasing its prowess in numerous competitions across the mid-Atlantic region. From victories at No-Off Season Sports, Maple Zone Sports Institute, and Sports at the Beach to triumphs at Youth Baseball Nationals in Myrtle Beach, Iron Horse in Pittsburgh, Atlantic Coast Baseball, Ripken in Aberdeen, and many more, the Outlaws have consistently demonstrated their competitive edge.
Beyond the multitude of championship and runner-up trophies adorning our shelves, we take immense pride in the development of our players. Over 50 athletes have transitioned from our program to compete at the collegiate level, following successful high school careers. Further amplifying our pride, three of our players have been drafted by Major League Baseball teams in the MLB Amateur Draft, a testament to the caliber of talent cultivated within the South Western York Baseball Program. Join us in celebrating a legacy of excellence, where dedication and skill propel players to new heights both on and off the field.
